JPML Reassigns Wright Medical Conserve Hip MDL Docket to Ga. Federal Judge

ATLANTA — The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has reassigned the cases remaining in the Wright Medical Conserve hip implant multidistrict litigation docket to Judge Thomas W. Thrash Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

The JPML’s July 10 order follows Judge William S. Duffey Jr.’s dismissal of 204 cases not subject to the master settlement agreement and remand of 12 cases that were directly filed in the MDL and not part of the settlement.
