Plaintiffs Seek Trial Preservation Depositions in DePuy Pinnacle Hip MDL

DALLAS — Plaintiffs in the DePuy Pinnacle hip multidistrict litigation docket are urging a Texas federal judge to allow them to conduct trial preservation depositions for 11 defense witnesses, arguing that ongoing discovery, revelations during four trials, and new scientific literature warrant such depositions.
In a June 18 supplemental memorandum filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, plaintiffs assert that the trial preservation depositions “can be played in a comprehensive and efficient manner in connection with remands of thousands of cases.”
