N.J. Court Upholds Dismissal of Yaz/Yasmin Case, Citing Deficient Expert Report

TRENTON, N.J. — A New Jersey appellate court has refused to reinstate a Yaz/Yasmin injury case, ruling that deficiencies in the plaintiff’s expert’s report violated the trial court’s case management order and thus warranted dismissal of the action.
In a June 18 opinion, the New Jersey Appellate Division held that because the report did not set forth the author’s qualifications and lacked a signature and date, it was unacceptable.
