Plaintiffs to Appeal Award of Summary Judgment to Morcellator Manufacturer Karl Storz

MONROE, La. — The plaintiffs in a morcellator cancer action are appealing a Louisiana federal judge’s award of summary judgment to Karl Storz Endoscopy-America Inc. and Karl Stroz Endovision Inc. on their failure-to-warn and design defect claims in a morcellator action.

In a May 9 notice of appeal, plaintiffs say they will challenge the rulings in the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
