Jury finds for C.R. Bard in 2nd Bellwether IVC Filter Case After 12-Day Trial

PHOENIX — The second bellwether Bard IVC filter case has ended in a defense verdict, with the jury finding that C.R. Bard adequately warned the plaintiff’s doctors about the known defects and higher complication rates associated with its Eclipse IVC filter.

The verdict was handed down on June 1 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Judge David G. Campbell presided over the 12-day trial.
