Judge Orders Compliance with Janssen’s Discovery Requests in Risperdal Case

SAN DIEGO — A California federal magistrate judge has ordered the plaintiff in a Risperdal case to comply with Janssen Pharmaceutical Inc.’s demand for interrogatory responses and documents after determining that the plaintiff intentionally failed to respond to the requests.
In a May 14 order, Magistrate Judge Barbara Major of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California noted the case has been pending for more than two years, yet the plaintiff has failed to provide Janssen with basic discovery responses.
