NEW YORK — A lawsuit targeting Stryker Corp.’s jaw implant is time-barred under New York law because the plaintiff suspected the implant was the true cause of his pain as early as 2006, yet failed to file suit until 2016 — years after the applicable statutes of limitations had expired.

On March 20, Judge Carol Bagley Amon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York dismissed the plaintiff’s claims of negligence, strict liability and breach of warranty against Stryker and its subsidiary, Porex Corp.
