Jury Returns Verdict in Favor of Bayer in Nation's First Baycol Trial




CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Following three days of deliberation, the jury in the nation's first Baycol products liability trial has found in favor of manufacturer Bayer Corp. in a suit filed by a man who allegedly developed rhabdomyolysis as a result of using the cholesterol-lowering drug. Hollis Haltom v. Bayer Corporation, No. 02-60165-4 (Texas Dist. Ct., Nueces Cty.).
