BATON ROUGE, La. - A Louisiana federal judge has awarded Integra Lifesciences Corp. summary judgment in a case involving its head clamp, finding the plaintiffs failed to rebut evidence that the device was not defective and did not cause a patient's death following spinal surgery.
On March 1, Judge John W. deGravelles of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana concluded that Integra has established that it is entitled to judgment as a matter of law.
