OKLAHOMA CITY - A woman who remains partially paralyzed after suffering a stroke in June 2001 has filed a $125 million lawsuit against the manufacturer of the dietary supplement she claims is responsible for her injury. Ella Yvonne Holladay v. Phoenix Health Products, et al., No. N/A (Okla. Dist. Ct., Oklahoma Cty.).
According to the March 5 complaint filed in Oklahoma County District Court, Phoenix Health Products, the manufacturer of Ultra Energy Now, did not list ephedra as an ingredient and negligently failed to provide any warnings on the supplement's packaging.
