CINCINNATI — An Ohio couple has sued Arthrex Inc., alleging its iBalance knee replacement device was defectively designed and manufactured, causing injuries in the form of pain, swelling and instability.
In an Oct. 3 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the plaintiffs further accuse Arthrex of failing to warn surgeons and patients of the iBalance’s risks and of breaching implied and express warranties.
