GSK Denied New Trial in Paxil Suicide Case; Judge Allows $3 Million Verdict to Stand

CHICAGO — An Illinois federal judge has denied GlaxoSmithKline’s request for a new trial in a case involving the suicide of a law firm partner who ingested Paxil for a week before his death, finding the $3 million wrongful death verdict was supported by the evidence.
