ATLANTA — Plaintiffs in the Wright Medical Conserve Hip Implant multidistrict litigation are urging an Atlanta federal judge to remand their 400 cases to the transferor courts, arguing that the purposes of the MDL have been achieved, and their cases will not benefit from further coordinated proceedings.
In an Aug. 4 brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Atlanta assert that in the more than nine months since the first settlement, no additional settlement agreement has been reached and the parties are now at an impasse. As such, “there is no reason to delay remand,” …
