Nev. Man Says Conformis Failed to Deliver Customized Knee Implant to Surgeon

RENO, Nev. — A Nevada man has accused Conformis Inc. of negligently delivering the wrong customized knee replacement implant to his surgeon, forcing him to undergo knee replacement surgery using a different, non-customized implant made by a different company.

According to the complaint, which was removed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada on Aug. 11, plaintiff Hermann Gollner never received his Conformis Inc. customized knee implant as the company promised, thereby causing him to sustain injuries.
