SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A California federal judge has allowed a Kugel hernia patch case to proceed against C.R. Bard and Davol Inc., finding the plaintiff adequately alleged the manufacturers were aware of a growing number of complaints regarding the product, yet failed timely to warn of defects or issue a recall.
