CHICAGO — An Illinois federal judge has ruled upon several motions in limine in a case concerning injuries allegedly caused by Ethicon Inc.’s Gynecare TVT Obturator System , holding in part that the defense may refer to certain of the plaintiff’s health conditions during trial.
In an Aug. 7 ruling, Judge Kennelly of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois further ruled that plaintiffs may introduce evidence concerning changes made to the TVT-O warnings after plaintiff was implanted with the device.
