Endo International to Pay $775 Million to Settle U.S. Mesh Product Liability Claims

DUBLIN — Endo International plc says it is planning to pay $775 million to settle “virtually all known mesh product liability claims” in the United States and that it “is engaged in discussions to resolve the known remaining U.S. claims at reasonable values.”

According to an Aug. 7 press release, Endo will make installment payments beginning in the fourth quarter of 2017 and continuing through the fourth quarter of 2019.
