COLUMBIA, S.C. — A South Carolina federal judge has allowed a lawsuit involving C.R. Bard’s Composix hernia mesh to proceed, ruling that the claims are not time-barred because the plaintiffs’ claims arose, at the earliest, in January 2014.
On July 20, Judge Cameron McGowan Currie of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina concluded that the trigger date was within three years before the action was filed, and therefore the claims are timely.
