ARTICLE: Anti-TNF-Alpha-Induced Systemic Lupus Syndrome

SUMMARY: The possible occurrence of drug-induced autoimmune disorders is a concern among rheumatoid arthritis sufferers who use anti-TNF-alpha therapies. Researchers believe these disorders may be caused by the drug's induction of antinuclear (ANA) and anti-DNA antibodies. The article describes a new case of infliximab-induced lupus and two new cases of etanercept-induced lupus syndrome.
