GREENSBORO, N.C. - Two cases involving individuals who allegedly sustained liver injuries as a result of using the weight loss supplement Lipokinetix were recently settled for undisclosed amounts in damages. Khan Eakin v. Syntrax Innovations, Inc., et al., No. N/A (N.C. Super. Ct., Guilford Cty.), and Stacey Nunn v. Syntrax Innovations, Inc., et al., No. N/A (N.C. Super. Ct., Guilford Cty.).
The terms for settlement were reached following two days of mediation proceedings that took place on Feb. 13 and 14, stated plaintiffs' counsel Nancy Meyers of Pinto, Coates, Kyre and Brown in Greensboro, N.C.
