Texas Federal Judge Issues Final Judgment to Zimmer in Trilogy Acetabular Hip Action

MARSHALL, Texas — A Texas federal judge has issued a final judgment in favor of Zimmer Inc. in accordance with a jury verdict in an action involving the Trilogy Acetabular Hip Implant System.

Judge Rodney Gilstrap of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas issued the judgment on June 21, in which he ordered that plaintiff Martha Hardy takes nothing from Zimmer and that Zimmer may recover costs from Hardy. The judge directed Zimmer to file its proposed bill of costs.
