ORLANDO, Fla. — The parties to a Florida federal lawsuit alleging that a defective Stryker ShapeMatch Cutting Guide caused a knee replacement device to fail have reached a settlement agreement, according to a recent court filing.
Judge Roy B. Dalton Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida dismissed the action on June 6 in light of a notice that the claims against Howmedica Osteonics Corp. have been settled and the parties are in the process of finalizing the settlement documents.
