MARSHALL, Texas — A Texas federal jury returned a verdict in favor of Zimmer at the conclusion of a trial involving its Trilogy hip replacement system, finding the device contained no manufacturing defects that could have caused the plaintiff’s alleged injuries.
On May 5, the jury, sitting in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, further found that Zimmer did not engage in any false, misleading or deceptive act that the plaintiff’s surgeon relied upon to the plaintiff’s detriment.
