ATLANTA — A Georgia federal judge has refused to transfer a B. Braun IVC filter action to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, finding the plaintiffs failed to show that it is a more convenient forum.
However, in a May 1 order, Judge William S. Duffey Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia allowed the plaintiffs to amend their complaint to add Braun S.A.S. as a defendant.
