Parties Submit Briefs to U.S. Supreme Court in Plavix Personal Jurisdiction Battle

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The parties have filed their briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court in a dispute over whether California courts have personal jurisdiction over Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. in eight Plavix actions involving nearly 600 non-residents pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure Section 410.10, which extends jurisdiction to the maximum extent permissible under the U.S. Constitution.

The high court is hearing arguments in the action on April 25.
