Survivor of Columbine School Shooting Drops Lawsuit against Antidepressant Manufacturer

DENVER - The survivor of the Columbine High School shootings who filed a lawsuit against the manufacturer of the antidepressant Luvox recently agreed to dismiss his claims with prejudice after the company offered to donate $10,000 to the American Cancer Society. Mark Allen Taylor, et al., v. Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. No. 01-CV-2076 (D. Col.).
The settlement, which was reached on Feb. 6, states that Solvay Pharmaceuticals will not pay plaintiff Mark Taylor or his attorneys any money and that Taylor is not allowed to discuss the case.
