Multi-County Designation Sought for N.J. LFIT Anatomic Cobalt Chromium V40 Femoral Head Cases

TRENTON, N.J. –– Plaintiffs with claims relating to Stryker’s LFIT Anatomic Cobalt Chromium V40 femoral heads have sought multi-county litigation designation in the state of New Jersey, saying the cases will involve “recurrent legal issues of design defect, failure to warn, breach of warranty and possibly manufacturing defect.”

In a Feb. 6 notice to the bar, Glenn A. Grant, the Acting Administrative Director of the Courts, noted that it had received the application and requested that anyone wishing to comment on or object to the application to provide those in writing by March 6.
