DePuy Files Motion for New Trial on All Issues in Six Cases That Were Awarded $1 Billion by Jurors

DALLAS –– DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. has filed a motion for a new trial on all issues in six Pinnacle Hip Implant cases in which a jury awarded more than $1 billion total, arguing that the trial was “rife with inflammatory and inadmissible evidence concerning matters that were wholly irrelevant to the core liability issues” in the cases.
