Court Lifts Stay in Accolade Hip System Case; Continues Trial Until Oct. 2017

LAKE CHARLES, La. –– A Louisiana federal court has lifted a stay in a Accolade Hip System case, noting that the stay was implemented while the plaintiff underwent revision surgery, which has now been completed.

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana issued the order lifting the stay on Dec. 16; one day prior, the court released the minutes from a Dec. 15 scheduling conference, noting that the jury trial had been continued to Oct. 23, 2017.
