5th Circuit Issues Briefing Schedule in Appeal of $502 Million Pinnacle Hip Implant Verdict

NEW ORLEANS –– The 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has issued the briefing schedule in the defendants’ appeal of a $502 million verdict entered in five Pinnacle Hip Implant cases, saying that the record is complete for appellate purposes and that the defendants have 40 days to file their brief.

The 5th Circuit issued the briefing schedule on Dec. 19, noting that the five cases in which the verdicts were reached have been consolidated for appeal.
