Settlement Agreement Reached in Majority of Pending Wright Conserve Hip Implant Cases; Deal Totals $240 Million

ATLANTA –– Parties involved in the litigation involving Wright Medical Technology’s Conserve Hip Implant have reached a settlement agreement totaling $240 million, according to press releases issued by both sides in the litigation.
The settlement was reached on Nov. 1, counsel for the parties stated.
The settlement encompasses approximately 1,3000 claims of Wright Medical metal-on-metal hip implant claims whose hips were revised at least 150 days and no more than eight years post-implant.
