Parties File Motions to Exclude, In Limine, in Upcoming Conserve Hip Implant Trial

LOS ANGELES –– Parties in an upcoming Wright Conserve Hip Implant system trial have exchanged briefing regarding efforts to strike testimony and to exclude testimony regarding actions post-dating the plaintiffs’ implantation surgery, according to recently filed documents.

In a response brief filed Oct. 20 in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County, the plaintiffs opposed a motion to strike filed by Wright Medical Technology, maintaining that the defendants have isolated portions of Michael McGuire, M.D.’s testimony, and “chooses to ignore relevant portions of the same deposition that directly establish the essential elements of Mr. Washington’s underlying claims.”
