Okla. Couple Disputes GlaxoSmithKline's Statute of Limitations Contention

TULSA, Okla. - An Oklahoma couple who sued GlaxoSmithKline claiming injuries from the wife's 'abrupt' discontinuation of its Paxil antidepressant disputes the company's contention that allegedly unreliable scientific articles can 'start the limitations clock.' Miller v. GlaxoSmithKline, No. 03-CV-393K(J) (N.D. Okla.).
Plaintiff Candace Miller sustained a traumatic brain injury on March 27, 1998, after she ran into traffic on a busy highway. As a result, the left side of her body is paralyzed and she is confined to a wheelchair.
