ATLANTA — A federal appeals court has upheld an award of summary judgment to Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Inc. in a Mirena action, ruling that the trial court did not err in refusing to extend discovery deadlines or denying the plaintiff’s motion to amend her complaint.
On May 23, the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals concluded that the trial court acted within its discretion in denying the plaintiffs’ motions.
