CHARLESTON, W. Va. — The judge overseeing the Boston Scientific Obtryx Transobturator transvaginal mesh multidistrict litigation has issued a number of findings concerning the admissibility of plaintiff and defense experts’ opinions and testimony.
On May 9, Judge Joseph Goodwin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia considered the experts’ opinions concerning product labeling, BSC’s use of polypropylene mesh in the Obtryx device, and regulatory issues.
