BRADENTON, Fla. — A state court judge has adopted a magistrate’s recommendation requiring Biomet Inc. to produce all audio-visual materials related to its Magnum Metal-on-Metal Hip System in several cases brought against the company in Florida.
Judge Diana L. Moreland’s April 4 order applies to a handful of hip injury cases consolidated in Florida’s 12th Judicial Circuit and was issued in response to accusations that Biomet previously failed to produce its entire catalogue of Magnum-related videos when plaintiffs sought such discovery more than a year ago.
