DALLAS –– The defendants in a consolidated Pinnacle Hip Implant injury action have moved for a mistrial, saying that throughout opening statements and the first few weeks of trial, counsel for the plaintiffs have “repeatedly attempted to prejudice the jury against defendants by introducing irrelevant, highly inflammatory evidence that has no place in a product liability trial.”
According to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas’ online docket, the twenty-first date of trial was held on Feb. 8. Sources told HarrisMartin that the proceedings are expected to last until March.
