LAKE CHARLES, La. - A Louisiana federal judge has denied Bayer Pharmaceuticals Corp. summary judgment on Cipro injury claims, finding an issue of fact as to whether the plaintiff was prescribed a drug manufactured by the drug maker. King, et ux. v. Bayer Pharmaceuticals Corp., et al., No. 09-465 (W.D. La.).
On April 14, Judge Robert G. James of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana further found that the claims of Diann and Mike King are not time-barred.
