CHICAGO — An Illinois federal judge allowed a case in which a law firm partner committed suicide after ingesting the generic equivalent of GlaxoSmithKline’s Paxil (paroxetine) to proceed to trial.
According to a Jan. 12 docket entry, Judge James B. Zagel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois entered and continued GSK’s recent motions for summary judgment, noting that they will not be resolved before trial.
