DALLAS –– Defendants involved in the national coordinated docket for Pinnacle Hip Implant claims have asked the MDL Court to assist them in obtaining oral testimony from a resident located in the United Kingdom, according to a recent filing.

In the Nov. 12 motion for international judicial assistance filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the defendants noted that it will take approximately six weeks for their request to be processed once it is received by the United Kingdom.

The next bellwether trial in the coordinated docket is scheduled for Jan. 6, the defendants said.
