Conserve Hip Implant MDL Judge Denies Motions for Judgment as Matter of Law in Ongoing Trial

ATLANTA –– The federal court overseeing an ongoing bellwether Conserve Hip Implant System has rejected motions for judgment as a matter of law, concluding that while the evidence presented in support of the plaintiff’s claims is “thin,” it could not conclude that there was no legally sufficient evidentiary basis for a reasonable jury to find for the plaintiff.
