ATLANTA — A Georgia federal judge has addressed in limine motions filed by the parties in a Wright Conserve Hip Implant System case set for trial, ruling in part that the plaintiff may present evidence of Wright Medical’s net wealth because it is relevant to her punitive damages claim.

On Oct. 30, Judge William S. Duffey Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia further ruled that the plaintiff’s surgeon may testify as to his observations of metallosis during her revision surgery, but such testimony must be substantially related to the facts of the case.
