Durom Hip Cup MDL Court Says Plaintiffs Waived Venue Rights; Schedules Next 2 Trials

NEWARK, N.J. –– The federal court overseeing the Zimmer Durom Hip Cup Products Liability Multidistrict Litigation has scheduled the next two trials in the coordinated docket after the first bellwether case was found to be time-barred and the second ended in a settlement agreement.

In a Sept. 3 letter, J. Joseph Tanner of Faegre Baker Daniels in Indianapolis informed the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey that Zimmer had selected Cartwright for the Feb. 2016 trial and Rochau for the May 2016 trial.
