ABINGDON, Va. - In a Jan. 17 motion for leave to amend their complaint, the plaintiffs in an OxyContin class action in Virginia have requested that the class action allegations be deleted without prejudice in the interest of pursuing individual claims. A.F. McCaulley, et al. v. Purdue Pharma, L.P., No. 2:01CV00080 (D. Va.).

According to the motion, plaintiffs A.F. McCaulley and Robert Bright are seeking to expedite the litigation of their individual claims.
