Plaintiffs Urge JPML to Reconsider Consolidation of Federal Cymbalta Withdrawal Actions

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Plaintiffs accusing Eli Lilly & Co. of hiding the risk of injuries related to Cymbalta withdrawal have again moved the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to consolidate their actions in California federal court for coordinated pretrial proceedings.
The July 23 filing is the second motion to centralize federal actions in which Lilly is accused of failing to accurately warn of the risks associated with discontinuing the antidepressant.
