Zimmer Moves to Revise Trial Plan in NexGen Knee Implant MDL

CHICAGO –– Zimmer has moved to revise the trial plan for cases pending in the national coordinated docket for claims relating to the defendant’s NexGen Knee Implant, saying that it still has “no defense picks that Plaintiffs are willing to take to trial.”

In the July 23 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the defendant said that while it made its first case pool selections three years ago, Zimmer still does not have a case to prepare for bellwether trial.
