DePuy Pinnacle Hip Implant Bellwether Plaintiffs Move to Compel Production of Documents Relating to Defenses

DALLAS –– Plaintiffs with claims pending in the national DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. Pinnacle Hip Implant Multidistrict Litigation docket have moved to compel responses from the defendants, maintaining that they are required to declare whatever information is current in their possession.

In the July 9 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the plaintiffs argued that there is “no doubt” the defendants know at least some of the case-specific defenses they will assert at the trial of the bellwether plaintiffs.
