DALLAS –– Defendants involved in the national DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. Pinnacle Hip Implant Products Liability Multidistrict Litigation have filed a brief addressing the ongoing dispute over the production of mental health records, saying that there is no good cause in the plaintiffs’ motion for a protective order.
In the opposition brief filed on June 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the defendants argued that the plaintiffs’ challenge to the production of mental health records essentially takes the form of a motion to modify Case Management Order No. 5.
