Advantage Transvaginal Mesh Case Settles Mid-Trial in California Federal Court

LOS ANGELES — A lawsuit accusing Boston Scientific Corp. of negligently designing its Advantage Fit transvaginal mesh device and failing to adequately warn of its risks has settled mid-trial in a California federal court.

Trial began on May 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California before Judge John F. Walter. Right before closing arguments, the parties announced that they had reached a confidential settlement. They entered into a joint stipulation for voluntary dismissal on May 12.
