SOUTH BEND, Ind. –– The federal court overseeing the national coordinated docket for claims arising from allegedly defective Biomet M2a Magnum Hip Implants has requested a listing of all remaining cases and indicated that it will select new Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee members from those cases, given that only one attorney has applied to fill the void.

In an April 28 order, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana noted that a number of the attorneys on the PSC no longer have constituent cases on the MDL docket.
